Notice of Updated New Guidelines

The Pharmacy Council has updated its guidelines on New Pharmacy Applications to reflect FDA GSDP guidelines and provide timelines for the application process and information on the digital application portal. Dear Consumer/Service Provider,
The Board and Management of the Pharmacy Council seeks to transform the Council into a regulatory center of excellence that works seamlessly to guarantee the highest levels of pharmaceutical care in Ghana. To achieve this, we pledge to deliver on our mandate by implementing the following among others to promote public health and safety.

  • Develop the capacity of staff
  • Promote professional competence and career development for all practitioners.
  • Enforce practice standards to promote patient health outcomes and safety.
  • Increase access to medicines and pharmaceutical services while ensuring consumer safety.
  • Optimize stakeholder collaboration for enhanced pharmaceutical care.

Every day our pharmaceutical service providers meets health needs in many different ways, and the Council expects them to continue making their contributions to better health around the country. How to get the Research Data

To obtain the data, please make a written request in a letter addressed to the Registrar of the Council, indicating exactly what data is needed, and the purpose for which it is needed.
